Dramatized documentary about KLM’s first flight to Curacao on the ‘Snip’. The Fokker PH-AIS (The Snip), a Fokker F.XVIII, flew KLM’s West India Company’s first Transatlantic journey form Schiphol to Curacao.

This plane’s cockpit, which is preserved in the Curacao Museum, is all that is left of the aircraft. It is filmed from this and other angles. This film shows how such a production is created.

Annick Daniëls en Eva Damen, twee VWO eindexamenstudenten van het Mgr. Frencken College te Oosterhout, NBr, doen hun profielwerkstuk over de vele Indische Nederlanders die na de onafhankelijkheidsoorlog vanuit het toenmalige Nederlands-Indië naar Nederland zijn ‘gevlucht’.
Onder begeleiding en hulp van Pet Holman (Pet Holman Visual Communication), tevens een oud leerling van het Mgr. Frencken College.
Sonny Haurissa vertelt over zijn ouders en wat het Moluks Monument voor hem betekent.
